    Life Is Awkward

    From the April 08 edition of New Zealand's Girlfriend Mag.
     
    Cera-tastic. Adj. Used to describe powerfully awkward situations.
     
     
    CERA-TASTIC SITUATIONS
     
    • When you see someone waving at you and you wave back. Then you realise they were waving at someone behind you.
    • When you say goodbye to someone you've been chatting to, and then you both walk away in the same direction.
    • When someone asks you something, but you're not really listening, so you just say "Yeah" - but it wasn't a yes or no question.
    • When you're watching TV and your dad joins you. Just in time for a sex scene.
    • When you're walking towards someone and they're far away. You want to make eye contact with them, but not too soon - so you look at them, then away, then at them, and so on.
    • When someone tells you something serious, like that their cat died, and you laugh coz you think they're joking. But their cat actually did die.
    • When someone says, "Hi" and you say, "Good thanks".
    • When you see someone you know, but you're not sure you know them enough to say hi. So you don't.

    Sweet Surrender

    blah. i never post on here lol but i think i should add something new just for the sake of it. anywayz sooo herez a poem that i wrote lyk uhhm last year. i quite lyk it actually.. i think itz one of my best works yet =]
     
    Words so sweetly spoken
    A smile that charms my heart
    A blanket of affection
    No lies does he impart

    Sugar coated candy drops
    A heart wrapped up with care
    Placed inside a box of trust
    Sealed with a prayer

    A flame once dimly glowing
    Now burns deeply with desire
    Filled with bliss and adoration
    Passion fuels the fire

    Starry skies and sunset glory
    Soft whispers from the wind
    Two shadows embrace, becoming one
    We share a heartfelt grin

    Strolling in the moonlight
    I now surrender in his arms
    Cherishing the moment
    No pain, no hurt, no harm
